Hodari Cail
Hodari Cail has over two decades of experience in federal and state government, politics, strategic communication, conflict mediation, public policy, and diversity and inclusion. He has a profound comprehension of government trends, data-centric insights, and a penchant for innovative thinking. At GGA Hodari is responsible for assisting GGA clients in Congressional, Executive Branch, and related stakeholder strategies and engagements.
In his previous role Mr. Cail contributed to the Wes Moore Campaign for Governor and the Maryland Coordinated Campaign. Prior to this, he aided in pioneering Boston's female minority Mayor Kim Janey, by orchestrating her landmark electoral victory. He was later selected to serve as the Massachusetts Port Authority’s Senior Director of Diversity, Inclusion, and Compliance. In this role, Hodari stood at the forefront of assessing, overseeing, and effectively steering organizational DE&I and compliance within the Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Program.
Mr. Cail also worked in the Executive Office of Governor Charlie Baker, where he was the Director of Community Affairs. He was responsible for effectively bridging the gap between constituents and the government, by fostering dialogues and facilitating interactions regarding various initiatives and policies. He was the liaison between community organizations, law enforcement, non-profits, and private entities, resulting in tangible outcomes.
Mr. Cail contributed to Charlie Baker's triumphant 2014 gubernatorial campaign as the Deputy Political Director. In this capacity, he collaborated closely with diverse constituency groups, including educators, communities of color, seniors, and labor leaders, mobilizing their active engagement in the campaign. He was pivotal in crafting comprehensive plans, working in tandem with field directors.
Mr. Cail's additional accomplishments encompass roles such as the Director of African American Outreach for Ed Markey's U.S. Senate campaign and the Director of Community Relations for Boston City Councilor Ayanna Presley. He currently chairs the Community Action Committee for the Boston NAACP and has served on the Board of Directors for the Boston Union of Minority Neighborhoods, underscoring his commitment to civic initiatives. Hodari is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and a graduate of The University of Massachusetts, Boston where he pursued a comprehensive education in Africana Studies and History Education.
